My journey into design…
I’ve always been drawn to technology and its creative potential, which led me to study computer science at Queen’s University. Early on in my degree I co-founded a mobile app called Boombox and led its design, sparking a deeper interest in the human side of tech. I followed this curiosity through UX design internships at startups, where I learned to solve real-world problems through design.
After graduating, I moved to Halifax and joined a small startup as a UX designer and product manager. That experience, along with my current studies in OCAD’s Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation, has shaped how I think; centering systems thinking, research, and strategy in my approach.
Curious by nature, I love asking questions, learning in fast-paced environments, and collaborating with others. Outside of work, you’ll find me making music, reading, or spending time outdoors.
My design philosophy
A one-size-fits-all solution doesn’t exist. I believe that exceptional design starts with empathy, listening, and the ability to deeply understand each unique problem at hand.
